The Forbes version is HERE, CNBC recently published a list of overseas retirements regions where you can live for $30,000 a year HERE – and our friends at ECI Development have more options all the time (see them for yourself HERE!).
That’s right… AARP acknowledges that no one place is right for every retirement, and so they have created an entire index citing the most livable neighborhoods and cities based on all different criteria – and not all of them are cost. Factors such as easiest to get around, most ways to stay healthy and best cities for making friends are included!

US News & World Report recently published their own list of best US places to retire in 202 based on a weighted scale using housing affordability, happiness, desirability, retiree taxes, the job market and access to quality health care upon surveying those aged 45 and up about their retirement preferences. Locales in Florida, Texas, Pennsylvania and North Carolina rank highly when balancing high quality of life with low cost of living.
