Monday Market Update: CA Home Prices Post Largest Gain In Nearly 7 Years

Check out these can’t miss market stats that reveal just how fast California housing is moving!

2021 is flying by and we are pretty sure the speed of this housing market has something to do with it! A new infographic from the California Association of Realtors® summarizes just how dynamic the real estate industry is; check out the stats below!

*January home sales reached their highest levels since 2009.

* Median California home prices recorded their largest gain in almost 7 years with a 21.7% jump year-over-year.

* 12 days is the average time a property is on the market.

Keep in mind that the data above is a great glance into statewide progressions. The opportunities in the Bay Area vary greatly from region to region (check out last week’s blog for a deeper dive!), plus there are pronounced differences between condo/townhome and single-family home trends.

If you have any questions at all about your home value, the distinct demand in your own micro market or the timing of your next real estate opportunity – please do not hesitate to reach out!
