Monday Market Update: November Is Military Family Appreciation Month

We cannot forget that families serve too!

Happy November! Not only does this month hold our favorite holiday and so much gratitude – it is also Military Family Appreciation Month! While Veterans Day is next week and we honor our service members in our hearts year-round, the reality is that military families make many sacrifices too. As the National Military Family Association (NFMA) explains:

“Every November, our nation pauses to celebrate Military Family Appreciation Month, a time to honor the love, strength, and service that make military life possible. At the National Military Family Association, this year’s theme, “Military Families Serve Too,” reminds us that service reaches far beyond the uniform and into the daily lives of those who hold everything together.”

The NMFA website offers several programs that highlight and advocate for the needs of military families. To learn more about their political advocacy, camp for military kids, community for teens and scholarships – click HERE.

Of course, this month is also the perfect reminder that VA home loans are available to help veterans, service members and surviving spouses become homeowners.
