Monday Market Update: San Mateo County Year-End Sales Stats

As we look ahead to real estate in 2022, here is where our local market data landed in 2021! 

Today’s Monday Market Update is a simple & informative one: check out the latest San Mateo County market data to see where our home sales and prices performed in the final month of 2021 (it was just over two weeks ago)! Using data courtesy of the San Mateo County Association of Realtors®, the Bobbi Decker Real Estate Team has created this quick graphic of how the year ended. 


An interesting comparison is to take a glimpse at the state data released by the California Association of Realtors® here.


You’ll see that the state supply is 3x that of San Mateo County with regards to inventory (but still nowhere near a balanced market). Yet the state days on market is almost half of that of our local market, which indicates demand in certain areas of the state is pulling that figure very low.
