3 Ways an SRES® Agent Can Help Your Parents Today

The only certainty in an uncertain world is that things are going to change. It’s just a matter of when. For many, the economic fallout of 2020 and the health risks for older adults led to moves and life transitions sooner than expected. In other situations, ‘normal’ aging occurrences such as falls and care needs required urgent decisions. Our best advice this year and honestly any year is: don’t wait. There are many things that adults aged 50 and over can and should consider today to make their lives easier tomorrow. Read all about 3 of them HERE.

Baby Boomers Seek Custom Over Cookie-Cutter Living

You have often heard us talk about how the retirement we are planning is far different than that of our grandparents, and really varies from person to person even within the same generation. But one common trend that many older adults can agree on is that they want custom housing. One senior residence type does not fit all; find out what seniors want and what that means for developers HERE.

Data Shows Optimism In Retirement

We don’t know of many, or really any, seniors that planned on retiring during a pandemic. And while COVID-19 no doubt changed life for everyone and many felt the financial, social and emotional repercussions – there is some good news. The Charles Schwab 2020 Modern Retirement Survey revealed that 80% of retirees will still live the retirement life they had planned. Get all the details HERE.

We have been honored to serve countless older adults in 2020 – not just through the selling of homes but by hearing hopes, providing access to resources and creating strategic plans. We can’t wait to support even more seniors in 2021!

Happy 4th of July! The Bobbi Decker Team would like to start off by wishing you all weekend celebrations that are safe, memorable and meaningful! As we welcome the holiday that commemorates the passage of the Declaration of Independence and our nation’s birth, we deeply honor our freedoms. The 4th of July typically represents the core values of freedom of speech, freedom of religion and the right to pursue happiness. As we embrace all that is possible when we let freedom ring, may we also be mindful of the impact of not honoring one another’s differences.
