A Time of Remembrance Above All

There is only one focus in our hearts this weekend: those who never made it home.

This last weekend in May is one of the most personally meaningful times of remembrance for me, as we take the time to honor those whose lives have been lost in service. With the utmost respect for every man and woman in our military past, present & future, I am beyond grateful for my loved ones who have made it home – and will never forget to honor those who did not have that privilege.

While Memorial Day is rooted in a dignified acknowledgement of sacrifice, it is also a time to gather and express gratitude for the freedoms we have today because of those who have given of themselves. May the kick-off of many summer celebrations symbolize the vibrant continuation of the values and traditions that define our nation.

Those whom have lost loved ones in service to our country hold space in our hearts this weekend & always. Gone is absolutely not forgotten.

With deep remembrance,
