Celebrating 250 Years Of America | United We Stand

What a time! 250 years of independence. Wow. As we prepare to celebrate the semi quincentennial of the Declaration of Independence, we hope that your 4th of July is filled with friends and family – face to face! 

The Bobbi Decker Team upholds only the highest respect for the United States of America and all who have fought to earn & protect our freedoms. We also believe the best way to honor our nation is to connect those within it, not just online – but in person. Handshakes and hugs, smiles and standing side by side – these things mean so much more than a like on social media. True human companionship is what inspires and drives us, especially in a time where there are so many things that could (but should not) divide us. 

The 4th of July, like all holidays, is an amazing opportunity to share food, friendship, laugher and love. As we celebrate our country’s freedom, may we do it with united gratitude for the place we call home – America.

And it’s not just American citizens who love our land, but the international visitors from the World Cup too! The New York Post published a great read on the top 5 friendliest cities according to tourists. Cultural connections are formed by small tokens of hospitality that we take for granted – like free refills of soft drinks and complimentary chips and salsa at Mexican restaurants. Another article highlighted that “We have people coming to our nation and appreciating almost everything we take for granted: truck stops, Waymo self-driving taxis, Texas Roadhouse, Buc-ees, the Cheesecake Factory and Waffle House. Costcos and Walmarts, air conditioning, global entry and ranch dressing all earned viral call-outs from Europeans, South Americans, Asians and Africans. Things that have become mundane to Americans awed first-time visitors.” 

If people from around the world can find so much joy in the little things, it’s a heartwarming reminder that we can too! May we continue to embrace this land of the free, and home of the brave – with open arms, open hearts and open minds.

The United States and those who have given their all for it – deserve nothing less!
