Monday Market Update: June Is National Home Ownership Month

June is here, summer is on the horizon and the comforts of home now include backyard barbecues, running through the sprinklers, summer planting and sun streaming in through all the windows. If you are like us – then you would agree that your home is your sanctuary and that there is nothing exactly like the pride and joy of owning your own home! That may be why we are more than excited to share that June is National Homeownership Month! 

While owning a home is not easy – there is vast agreement that it is worth it! The National Association of Realtors® reports that home ownership is one of the most reliable wealth builders as the typical US homeowner has 43x more wealth than that of a renter. 

While the financial benefits of home ownership are easy to measure, there are many non-tangibles that are equally important and bring just as much joy. In the spirit of summer simplicity and technology – we chose what we feel are the biggest benefits of home ownership and asked an AI-based word cloud generator to help us out (we believe in giving credit where credit is due – even to technology!).
