Monday Market Update: SAMCAR Latest Infographics

March 2025 + Q1 Stats Are In

Greetings Readers! Can you believe that we are halfway through Spring already? With 2025 flying by so quickly, we wanted to take this chance to share the latest data from the San Mateo County Association of Realtors® with regards to sales data for Quarter 1 2025 and last month.

Quarter 1 2025: As you can see, prices are up 5% year-over-year for both single family homes and townhomes. Days on market is noticeably shorter this year, while closed sales are up 3% for single family homes and down 8% for condos and townhomes.

March 2025: The latest available monthly data is for last month and the most notable increase is the pace of condo sales. While the quarterly sales average was lower (likely due in large part to the pause in January/February that happens in an election year), the March closed sales for condos surged 20% year-over-year!

You can access all of the #SAMCARStats here; as always feel free to reach out at any time if you have questions about how this data applies to you, the possibilities for your home and your plans.

All my best,

Bobbi
