Monday Market Update: California’s Latest Sales & Price Report

CAR® has released March data and market competition is 'bouncing back'!

Data speaks louder than words and the latest home sales & price reports from the California Association of Realtors® have a lot to say! Time on market has dropped to the lowest figure since August of 2022 at just 19 days on average. Median home prices have risen for the first time since October of 2022. Plus on a statewide level… the sales-to-list price ratio is 99.1% (for San Mateo County that ratio is 103%!).

Last but not least – inventory remains tight as statewide supply dropped nearly 30% year-over-year. In San Mateo County, months of supply is just 1.7 (with a balanced market being double to triple that). We encourage you to review the data in full on the CAR® and SAMCAR® websites. The best decision you can make in the market is the one that is best for you

Best wishes for a great week!
