Just a couple weeks ago, Realtor.com revealed the top 10 vacation areas that Baby Boomers tend to also call their later life home. Eight out of the ten locales are in the South! Commonalities include cities with golf, beaches, a warm climate, low cost of living, low taxes and inexpensive housing. Many Northeast retirees choose to live in these areas to escape high property taxes (often less annually than they paid in a month up north!).
