If you have followed our blog and media outlets over the years, then you know that there is one thing we prioritize above all else: health. Because while our business and goals may have been focused on real estate, home, lifestyle, aging and retirement – none of that matters if we do not have the thing that grounds us, empowers us and allows us to be the best we can be – the healthiest version of ourselves.

Health has become an ever-present theme in my own life over the last 4 years as I have battled cancer for the 2nd time. I share this only because I know that fighting cancer is something everyone can relate to – either watching someone you love fight for their life or enduring the battle yourself.

I am not only passionate about supporting cancer survivors and their families – but in advocating for the funds that sustain critical research. One of the medications I am currently on is actually new and not previously available in my last round. The importance of support and funding is why I have joined the North Peninsula Relay For Life and started ‘Bobbi’s Never Give Up Team.’ I was honored to speak at the opening of the event this past Saturday, September 13, 2025 – and I am even more inspired now to fulfill my $3,000 goal.

The community spirit of Relay For Life has not just reinforced for me that cancer impacts way too many people, but emphasized the fact that NO ONE should fight cancer alone. As a proud sponsor of the event and a Team Captain, I am passionate about the work that the American Cancer Society does – and how we can help!
