Senior Spotlight: February Is American Heart Month
Hands-Only CPR can be a lifesaver.
We often think of February in terms of love and hearts… but as American Heart Month, we encourage you to make sure that focus includes a healthy cardiac system! There are countless resources to help you learn and live a heart-healthy lifestyle (we have included a few below!). But what we want to include in this blog is information from the American Heart Association that we all can learn to help save a life!
Did you now that men over the age of 45 and women over the age of 55 are at highest risk for cardiac events? Did you also know that CPR, especially if performed immediately, can double or triple a cardiac arrest victim’s chance of survival!
