Some of Medicare’s biggest changes are happening in 2023 – here is an overview. 

Nothing matters more than your health. We all know this yet may have a hard time prioritizing it until we have no choice. A large part of managing your health is understanding your health care plan – which is why we wanted to review some big changes occurring for the over 65 million people on Medicare.


While we want to make clear that we are not Medicare experts and that this article is for general informational purposes and consideration, we have provided access to some resources that we believe to be a solid base of knowledge and exploration.


Biggest Medicare Changes for 2023 | AARP

This blog is part of an official publication from the US Government and outlines not only what is changing – but what is NOT. If you are eligible at age 65, your Initial Enrollment Period (IEP):

-         Begins three months before your 65th birthday.

-         Includes the month of your 65th birthday.

-         Ends three months after your 65th birthday.
