‘Best Of’ Bobbi Decker Blogs 2025

See our Reader's Choice picks for our top 5 blogs of the year!

What a year! 2025 brought some amazing personal accomplishments and challenges, as well as much professional honor and focus. We continued our blog format of two new articles almost every week, with topics centering around Monday Market Updates and Senior Spotlight news. We reviewed our statistics for the year, and the blogs below are what we are naming our ‘Best Of’ based on social media views. Here is what the stats say YOU liked most…

#1: Downsizing vs. Aging In Place

This popular article took us back to our roots of our advocacy of ‘living longer & living better.’ We summarized how over 75% of seniors plan to age in place yet some studies say 80% cannot afford to do so. Then we revealed the 5 key reasons to consider downsizing and the 2 ultimate deciding factors. Check it out

#2: Carmel-by-the-Sea / All To Know About All The Charm

What a fun article to write about one of our favorite places! In this blog, we broke down the community features of Carmel, as well as where most buyers come from, what the town quirks are and the big name celebrities and events that ground it. Get the scoop here

#3: 7 Considerations For Senior Living

We know that we can never tell someone what is best for them as they age, but we do hope we can offer them questions to ask themselves! In the summer, we shared ‘7 Questions To Ask Yourself Before You Move Into A 55+ Community.’ Many readers enjoyed it – and if you have not read it yet, we think you will too! Read in full here

#4: See The 10 Healthiest Cities In The US

Health isn’t just an important thing – it’s everything. As the #1 priority for ourselves and our readers, we were excited to share the 10 healthiest cities in the US. San Francisco ranked #1 along with 2 other mentioned Golden State cities. Learn about the wellness indicators for physical and mental health here

#5: Bobbi Decker Receives SAMCAR Lifetime Achievement Award

I’m going to be honest with you, this next most viewed article is a hard one to share. The New Year started off with the shocking news that I had been awarded the SAMCAR® Lifetime Achievement Award for 2024! I was humbled, I was honored, I was grateful and I was also fully aware that what I had achieved was not done alone. Thank you to all of my clients, my business partners, my industry peers and my neighbors for sharing my values and contributing to my efforts. This award is not just for me, but for all of you! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Well, those may have been the most viewed articles of 2025, but they are not the only vital pieces of information that we shared. Feel free to review to review our blogs for the year here and use the ‘Search’ bar on the right if you are looking for a specific topic.

As always, we would love to hear from you and what your areas of interest are for 2026; please reach out with topic ideas at any time!
